The Beginning of Knowhere
Inspired by the interdimensional crossroads where intergalactic travelers from all walks of life gather in the Marvel Universe, Knowhere Bangsar opened its doors on 27th June 2018, aiming to be a refuge designed for the curious travelers of Telawi to connect with one another and learn new things.

What We Offer
Knowhere Bangsar is a restaurant and cocktail bar of cosmic proportions, serving as a portal to different dimensions through an eclectic range of pork-free food and artisanal cocktails inspired by the excitement of global cuisine infused with unmistakable hints of nostalgic, Malaysian homeliness. For those craving the comfort of familiarity, we have a wonderful selection of beers, liqueurs, and a carefully curated wine list that’s sure to hit home.

Company Knowhere’s core beliefs include being an ethical and socially responsible company, advocating for sustainability, social causes as well as the local arts community.
Sustainability
When Knowhere was first conceived, we knew right away that we wanted to be committed to practising sustainability from our choice of straws to the management of our food waste.
We decided against using single-use plastics and seeked more environmentally conscious options sourced locally and ethically. As a result, we are proud to be using bamboo straws made locally by The Usuk Initiative, as well as metal straws from My Tak Nak Straw at our establishment. We’ve also partnered with Nespresso to recycle our coffee grounds and capsules. Malaysia disposes of 3,000 tonnes of preventable food waste every single day, making it the largest contributor of solid waste and largest source of harmful greenhouse gases in the country. Knowhere aims to reduce our carbon footprint through our initiative of donating our daily food waste to Kebun-Kebun Bangsar to be used as compost.
Social Causes
We frequently host and collaborate with local social causes, frequently partnering with organisations such as no-kill shelter Cherishlife Home, women empowerment organisation Soulsisters Network, and women’s rights NGO Women’s Aid Organisation to create meaningful events that advocate for what we believe in.
Local Arts Community
When you step foot into Knowhere, you’re bound to notice the keyholes that adorn our main wall - from cityscapes and seasides to surreal scenery and portraits, we commissioned local artists such as Fritilldea and Fai Zakaria to turn a simple keyhole into portals that would take visitors on a journey to different dimensions.
Ultimately, we strive to be more than just a restobar - we want to be a conduit of meaningful experiences.
